anw, today's class talks abt knowing what you want, which supposedly is the most fundament of all success.
and that you need to know your talent and your passion.

asked the trainer how do you know whats your talent and question to counter my question was

ok, in my 24 yrs of social interaction, got. But I'm not convinced.
Passion is a even more abstract concept as of now.

On Friday nights,

you can get work off your mind for awhile

you dont have to build up all that mental preparation to battle out at work the next day

you can watch tv, surf the net, 敷脸，放mask

you can sleep late

you dont need to wake up to alarms the next day

and best of all, you know that if your saturday is gone before you know it, you still have sunday. :)

I sleep exceptionally well on fridays and i have sleepless nights on Sundays. On weekdays, I just get knocked out soon after i hit the bed. Haha.

But nature has been kind to me.

Pigeons suspected to be fed on takopachi. It was really significantly bigger than the usual worm eating ones.

The japanese love their cherry blossoms. You cannot imagine how many people were having picnics under those trees.

SEC's GO-OUT-AND-PlAY day!
All thanks to Rexy's extremely merticulous planning, SEC was on our way to Port Dickson for a well deserved break after working so hard in 2009.

The old school railway station really did fasinate me and rekindled ZR's modelling memories. HAHA. Rexson the tour agency CEO/ tour leader . He even prepared the itinerary!Overnight train with bunks was a cultural shock.

After being confined in the train for some time, LG cannot help but finally decided to show his inclination towards ZR. He wanted to hold ZR's hands but ZR was too shy to accept the offer. Please refer to picture below.

The accomodations looking nice and pretty, overlooking calming waters and rock structures.... But we werent staying there.We went red-indian style. Tepees for you.入乡随俗. Red indians rode horses and so we rode horses.And we were back to bows and arrows.
NANA ONG trying to look all instructor-like for the purpose of the photo.
In between there was paintball, go-kart lots of aimless walking, dining at the same restuarant 2 times over, singing out loud to other company's KTV session because they really suck and we saw the need to help them put, drinking at lewis' room with the rule that the 2 ppl sitting beside the person who wins have to drink... and cyr kept winning = me and fen very innocently had to drink.

After drinking, the girls went mad at Li 先生音乐教室。

more unglam photos but you dont have to see them. Of course how can I forget the midnight pre-bed time singing class. me ish ke lian! But I still love you all la.

Mayday concert was GREAT. I liked it.. and i was so close to ashin for a few seconds!! OMG. that is the nearest i'll ever get.. awwwwww. loves loves loves! ME LIKE ASHIN!

Didnt know how to sing the first few (few means like.. 5songs??) at the beginning despite self proclaiming to be a mayday fan since very very long ago. But still know most of it la. lots of hokkien songs which i dunno how to sing. but i'm inspired to learn hokkien after yesterday! Super 陶醉 in the slow songs and i am totally mesmerized by ashin la. Taiwan grad trip part 3- 花莲

I'm back from Taiwan for the 2nd time and I am still not done with the first. Shouldnt have started in the first place. hahah.

Train to hualian = turn around seats, rounds and rounds of dai di, chua yirong's 守护神 tattoo PK zhenrong's 太阳的力量, meeting the rest of the RE people, chitter chatter chitter chatter, weird train captain who thinks i look hungry and keep wanting to sell his 便当to me.

bought 槟榔 but had no guts to eat it. was secretly happy when some auntie told us that it should be thrown away if it is left overnight. haha. One brave soul tried it but his reaction was not encouraging.

Grad trip part 2: Kaohsiung.

Wanted to wait for ZR's pictures but i think that wont come in a long time. make do with what I have first la.

First experience carrying loads of luggage up alot of stairs.

苍白And it was a 6 hr train ride across the country.. from Taipei to Kaohsiung.I have half an MRT station in Kaohsiung leh! Really! Got write name. Abit of spelling error in both the Chinese and English characters but nevermind. Still my MRT station.Dream Mall. The mall is super quiet. 冷清. We were probably the ones with the most time to waste around kaohsiung thats why. Things were definately more expensive than the night market stalls so shopping wasnt quite the agenda. But well, self entertaining goes a long way.Like that?Ang Chin Yan was a good marksman! The girls were impressed. NS trained him well.

We went clubbing that night... because we happened to be near a club. The girls there really dress up super sexily (scanty) and lots of make up (thick makeup plus fake eyelashes x 5298743473 coats of mascara). OH! and dance halfway got police spot check (警察临检)! so exciting! like movie like that. hahaha.. They on the lights, off the music and everybody was sitting around waiting for your friendly policemen to appear. But we waited and waited no police came and the lights went off again and the music came on. CHey.... I was waiting for people to get caught, queue up and walk out leh. HAHA.

旗津where we cycled 8km or more. So proud of CYR! Super sunny... Tanned x1. we cycled damn far + got lost to find this! i liked my lemon+ ice cream thingy but the rest tot it was too sour. and the red tea there is damn terrible la! its like tea plus coffee. though i drink both i really dont like that funny red tea! eeeekkks.nana ong self directed MV's still shot 1Still shot 2Some weird pictures...

Grad trip Part 1: Taipei

Welcome 2 Taiwan! Grad trip with a group of crazy people. Super alot of photos.. but had a great time! Thanks for all the entertainment darlings!

Rong brought her elmo out to tour the world. (enlightment of the day: elmo is always impressed so the mouth is always wide open)

The KTV lobby look 10x more grand than our hotel la. We were so impressed. And it was quite cheap with our student fare. S$16+/pax for 5 hrs+ free flow of drinks + bao + carrot cake. Got private toilet somemore!
ZR's favorite food.Sang KTV till 5am. Had a couple of LOL videos. hahahah.. not to be circulated. for our own entertainment only k?

Our Day 1 was damn xiong! Slept for 2 hrs and got highly disturbed by SOMEBODY'S alarm which cannot be switched off.

Doing morning exercise in the room cause there was this programme on tv teaching ppl how to do. nana still has her toothbrush stuck in her mouth.

Went to queue to watch the bai fen bai recording. xiao zhu and xiao gui are cute. super excited when we were there! we were sooooo close!! hohoTaipei 101.
Singapore!Auckland. hehe. everybody is super tired. hahahanana ong the 淑女 unglam pics. everybody was dead tired at the end of the day.

What I've been up to for the past 2 weeks.

I've been locking myself up in the mountains and trying to study but most of the time i got super distracted by nothing at all.

My days in buggy paradize has ended unofficially. Just need to move my stuff back home.

Weird bug with 1 leg less and looks like a prawn outside 2 panes of uncleaned windowsValuation. Calculator, highlighter, coffee.really tried. Scared i dont do well, which i probably will. Thats how much paper i wasted on chinese art. Quite a stack and drove my printer nuts. But since the whole paper was like copy-your-notes exam... the trees didnt quite die in vain? Taiwan planning! Nana and cyr in my room the day after nego paper.The twins. xin you ling xi. very busy very black. my room. taken on my unofficial graduation day! hahaha. Going to miss living alone. Where nobody bothers abt what time i sleep/wake up/eat/ go out... 4 years in nus.. i probably spent more time in school then at home. Went out after chinese art to meet my family for lunch. Off to the bridal studio to choose sister's gown after that. I think my sister is pretty! Very weird to say that but yar. I think she is pretty. And so skinny. Pictures are blurry because the auntie dun let me take pictures. Had to take them secretly. And yes my dearest friends.. this is what the grad gown vs. bridal gown is all about.

4 years ago, she was wearing the grad gown and i was taking pictures with her. 4 years later I am wearing the grad gown and she is on her way to wearing another gown which marks a different stage of her life. Seems like my status change from student to unemployed isnt so big a change after all!

Oh my god.

I am printing so much notes and wasting so much paper i feel so bad for the environment. Didnt even waste so much paper on my dissertation.

Lecturers should consider giving less notes and teaching less.
Every lecture is like 160 slides or more. 11 lectures in all. RAH. I will recycle all of them after 2nd May 2009.

And I really skipped too much of this module. I dont even know what is in the syllabus. OOps... Cant blame me with all the crazy deadlines this whole sem la. And he only read from the slides what. What so different reading it on my own? (*self console)

I feel obliged to do well for this module.

Today is DAMN HOT. Cannot take it. Even deserts are better off because they are cool at night!

Valuation paper today was no good. not that it was very tough actually.. more like not confident of ANY ANSWERS i put on that paper. Didnt have enough time to check through as usual. RAH. CFJ! not gonna see u again! Good bye!

waited for nana and rong to come to my ulu hall to do our long delayed taiwan planning. HAHA. We took so much time leh! They left at 10 plus! Nana was dancing in my room in an attempt to create some air motion herself and catch some wind. HAHA.

Rong was either busy talking to her comp (Guai la, i know you can do it! come on! I acknowledged you in my dissertation!) or working on my comp to look for accomodations which allows me and nana to 摘花，摘水果. hahaha.. we always want to pluck things. Think we are destructive by nature! Hehe.. nana was also frantically trying to get through the line to the taiwan side and was super high when she finally succeeded. lol. xin ku ni men le! Me the landlord not much contribution. haha. sorryyyyy.

Made good progress for project taiwan today. :)

4 Years in SDE

I'm feeling emo today.. decided to channel this emo feeling into something of a better cause. Since there is currently an essay competition on see whose 感言more感人, I'll be a participant. :)

I cant believe 4 years in SDE is coming to an end. I am so used to coming back to all the lovely people and disgusting work after maybe 3 months hols. I cant imagine life without all of you! There will be alot less laughter in my life!

I came to SDE by PURE ACCIDENT. Didnt even know what I was in for. Hated to go for camps but somehow made myself go for it in the end. Thats the best decision I've made. Rag brought us together, bruises and dance and that god damn music which made us quite paranoid then. hahahah. Sometimes I think life has been pretty good to me. Flunged my As but i found myself with some of the greatest friends I've ever found.

This is a incoherent super random post.

I had this reallly weird dream last night!!

I dreamt that I was with somebody (cant remember who. suspected to be mel.. hahahah) on a grad trip to auckland! arrr.. still cant get this new zealie thing out of my mind! and everything was like half familiar and half not. The scene was like half my home and half my nz apartment. Or rather.. it was like 80% of my home in a supposed to be nz apartment setting. We supposedly happened to stay in the apartment i used to stay and realise I didnt move my belongings back then. Found super alot of things left behind! Come to think of it I probably dreamt of my storeroom la. hahahaha.

And then... i realise i couldnt quite find my way around. Now that I am wide awake.. those street scenes dunno come from where one. it wasnt nz jiu dui le.

okok this post is not in a very logical sequence. cause i cant remember my dream very clear.

The WEIRDER PART WAS... I dreamt I saw Fen and Lewis somewhere! we were transiting la. then we saw them!! hahahah.. ok... theoretically speaking.. i'll assume we were transitting at AUSTRALIA.

and then and then.. Somewhere in the dream again i saw both of them in auckland (supposedly)! and i was like AYE HOW COME U GUYS ARE HERE? and then both of them complain is because suddenly dunno why they not enuff ppl to OZ and I DIDNT JOIN THEM so they ended up just 2 of them in NZ.

It is official. Undergrads, Grads, Staff and lecturers... Anyone spending most of their time in a university is in life danger. Apparently, if you're a foreign student, your risk is doubled.

After the sensational story of NTU scholar stabbing lecturer and committing suicide, comes story 2 where a NUS exchange student unfortunately died of heart attack.

And then comes story 3 of another NTU suicide case. Guy graduated with 2nd upper, got a job, got laid off in 2 months, came back to NTU to work and dunno why suicided. SO TRAGIC!

Forecasted implications ( haha.. did too much dissertation!)
I think NTU will have a smaller intake this year. People scared they will stress until die. Kept having this NTU advertisment on msn.. It says Life@NTU haha. Can it be more ironic... i think they need to change their slogan. Luckily all these suicide not happening in NUS.. cause NUS tagline is JoiNUS. hahah.

OMG. Dissertation is finally OVER OVER OVER!!!

Kept smiling to myself the entire day. HAHA. Happiness overload.

Everybody was super high after handing in the dissertation. Rong managed to submit in time. Thank god. :) Ramen Ten after that with rong, fen and lewis. The waiter hated us for our never ending requests. Shopped at Vivo after that with the love birds and rong left to meet her mama. Paiseh... I was a light bulb again!!

Vivo was filled with people at 9++pm.. Singaporeans are into late night shopping? the retailers arent for the idea though... we kept having to squeeze out from tiny tiny exits because 95% of the shop front is closed and they are all ready to go home!
