So u want to renovate your toilet?

If you think you want to renovate your toilet, please make sure you meet the following pre-requisites. Especially for those who want to renovate all the toilets in your house at the same time, please prepare yourself to meet the pre-requisites. This is essential if you do not wish to go thru physical and mental sufferings.

1. Unleash your psychic powers to know if your contractor is one who plans b4 he works.

The contractor was not very thoughtful I must say. I know I want to renovate both my toilets. but that doesnt mean you have to carry out works at the same time. What is going to happen when ppl in the family needs to go to the washroom? use public toilet across the street at the coffeeshop??? Well for me, you can still use the toilet if you chase the workers out, walk carefully so that your foot doesnt end up in a cement mold and pick an auspicious hour when they are not working on activities that absolutely does not allow your presence in the toilet. Oh and all that is assuming you are not changing the toilet bowl. If you are..... make sure there is a public toilet across the street at the coffee shop.

2. Have a strong bladder if pre-req 1 fails.

Seriously. U need a strong bladder. tried and tested.

3. Highly adaptable to different living conditions.

my house looked like a contruction site when they left. having a slab of half dried cement doesnt make it more homely.

felt even more like construction site when the renovation was going on. Super noisy and dusty! my house looked like a riot just took place. or it just survived an earthquake. my black chair turned grey and i almost couldnt recognise it. Thought it belonged to the contractors. Had to mop the floor everyday so that it is more live-able.

5. Make allowances for your budget.

Exceeded budget! turned out the original invoice did not include alot of things and the total bill almost doubled at the end. feel cheated.

6. Alot of time to spare.

They were very slow in their work. Dont know what are they up to. Work for less than an hr will go out and take a puff. back to do abit of work and out for a puff again. good thing we are not paying them on daily basis. too bad for their boss if that is what their pay is based on.

Final pdt not quite ready. shall post pictures when they are. oh but i have hotel like taps now! haha.
