Sweet Talk
Sweet Talk has successfully invaded into every part of Tampines Central. They call themselves the leading dessert chain in Singapore and I can see why. They are really EVERYWHERE...
Spotted this new Sweet Talk chain right smack in the Tampines Bus terminal. OMG. Need to open so many or not. The Sweet Talk boss must have been reading some kind of Sun Zi Warfare and thus decided on this Triangle battle formation. Haha.. So now there are 3 Sweet talks in Tampines Central itself, all within 10 mins walk. They are trying to trap all potential customers in this triangle formation!!! Regardless how you get into the 1km radius from Tampines Mall, by bus, by train, by foot. You name it....
You turn and its there, you turn and its there, you turn AND ITS THERE!
Maybe one year later they might decide to go for a Pentagon Battle Formation instead
Had a bubble tea craving today so went to get myself a pearl milk tea. The stall at the bus interchange was really bad. I was stunned by the rudeness. Was something very trival and I dont know why was I so stunned. Not angry not pek chek but just...
wow, that was rude.... ok.... *try to take in what just happened*
Bought the pearl milk tea in the end at another outlet and it doesnt taste good what. What's with the fuss over Sweet talk. My fascination with pearl milk tea only happened after my SEP. Had this really good pearl milk tea at HuluCat Cafe in Auckland. It tasted 10x better than sweet talk but 4x more expensive. So if you do the maths, dollar to yumminess, it is a better deal to get a more yummy but more expensive one.
The pearl milk tea I am still struggling with just killed any craving for more pearl milk tea. Oh.... might as well. Maybe I should start a bubble tea business just like the Hulucat place. Gonna be a million dollar profit business.... calling for business partners!
