Day at the Beach!

She sells sea shells at the sea shore....

This title reminds me of a oral exam which i failed! Haha.. i still remember. 9/20. But I can't remember was it an english oral or a chinese one. Hated oral. Guess i'm shy and don't like to talk to people. Anyway, I am still shy now. So i still dislike oral. haha.


After much discussion the night before, we decided to head for Mission Bay today. It is approximately 15~20mins bus ride away. spent so much time looking for the busstop. we were lost! Anyway the bus frequency is fairly low.. like 30mins to 1 hr interval. So we had to entertain ourselves while waiting for the bus. took some pictures at the busstop. Pictures are with weijing... maybe she'll upload them.

What i was stoning at while waiting for the bus. the building with lots of glass panels looking stuff is Britomart. The transport centre in Auckland.

Bus to Mission Bay is $3.20. Though there is only 3 stops to talk about. Quite ex huh..

Very sunny but people still like to busk in the sun. I think i am tanner now than before already. And i didnt even try to tan myself.. All the walking around is enough to darken me!

Lunch! Fish and chips. got alot of chips! Couldnt finish them.. Not too bad. The fish was pretty fresh just that once again.. a little pricy for what is served. $15.90. Paying for the ambience I suppose. Sea view mah.

Water in a pretty presentation. They had so much time they went to fold little slips of serviettes and put around the neck of the jar. Hmmm doesnt really help in the pouring though. Maybe it has more functional justifications which i just failed to realise.

Movenpick Ice-cream! No beach is complete without an ice cream palor! Didnt get anything from there though.

Lots of birds there!

This is so cool! See that yellow thingy there? Initially when he was trying to get it up we were speculating what is it. Kite? parachute??? This guy with the yellow thingy is actually wakeboarding, without a boat. All you need is that yellow kite like thing. And it probably is some wakeboarding+wind surfing sport. So amazing. He flew up for like 3 seconds! Haha.. cooool. Wonder if he can control the direction he is going or not. seems like he can. hahah.. if not i don't know how he is gonna get back to shore. We were not the only ones watching. We're not sua ku! everybody is watching. haha..
Evening had dinner with my dad's friend- auntie clancy. Really nice lady. She brought us to this chinese restaurant which seemed to have won the title of the best chinese restaurant in auckland. haha.. Food is pretty good. Had red bean soup at the end and it tasted like my mum's! made me miss home for awhile... I feel bad for bringing so many people with me to dinner and made auntie clancy spend so much now...
