Vienna

super long flight.

Took a 12 hr flight to Istanbul and transited there for an hour. After that is another 2+ hours to Austria, Vienna.

12 hrs flight gives you very flat hair. And i look so fat beside my sister. You see why i always need to diet. And then we got to Vienna. Not quite as I imagined. I thought there will be musicians everywhere and it is going to be very gu se gu xiang. But not exactly leh. Quite modernized. Ok.. Tourist perceptions. I guess I shouldnt expect ppl to still live like in the olden days.

Schönbrunn Palace. Summer palace for the royal family then.
The interior is AMAZING. Super extravagently pretty. Different rooms had different themes. White walls gold trimmings for the main hall. Lots of details in the ornamentations. After the tour around the palace, i had a new ambition.

I want to be a Queen.

Ice cream man selling 1 Euro ice cream. Not too yummy. But very good business for him on a scorching day like that.

The garden behind the palace. Huge. Realise that the ancient idea of gardens stop at flowers. Lots of flowers, all different blooms and colours. No trees, no shade! Was so so sunny I thought I would melt, seep into the ground and be a very good fertilizer for the flowers.
