Krakow

Another day of walking and raining. Started off with a city tour and our local guide has this really strong accent you need to pay alot of attention to his english before you make sense of it. So poor him, most of the people in the group tend to ignore whatever he was introducing. Well he was talking about all the Baroque and Classical and Renaissance architecture but also never really which is which and how to differentiate. I tried my best to look attentive.

Wawal Hill. Used to serve as royal residence.

Behind every photographed subject, there is a bag carrier/hanger.

The interior. if i didnt rememeber wrongly, the guide mentioned this to be Italian Architecture style. The arches are used to block sunlight. Something to do with the shadow i'll guess.
This street is called Ulica Kanonicza. Loved the buildings lining up on both sides of the streets.
These 2 people plays some superb recorder tunes! Didnt know recorder could sound so good. How come my primary school music teacher didnt try to impress me with tunes like that. And so i thought recorders was about Edelweiss and what else?Always thought it'll be cool to study in old old looking unis, just like what I always see on TV! Thought i'll be able to experience that in NZ. Mei xiang dao... I had most of my classes in the very modern buildings of UoA.

Jagiellonian University. The oldest university in Poland.

Every hour some thing will come out of the 2 mini blue/green doors like a musical box! They will go round and round with some very long music. Had lunch at the cool cave looking place. Wieliczka Salt Mine. The notorious 300++ steps to walk down before you even get to the mine. But thank god we only have to climb down and dont have to take the same way up.

I thought I must have conquered half of the stairs until I looked down

Salty salt. The sights inside the salt mine. Basically some figurines on how they used to work down there and also some salt sculptures. The guide just explained the meaning behind their figurines and hurried us to the next place. HELLO, we had to pay like a few bucks to buy the permission to take pictures can. You like that hurry us all over the place how to take picture. In the end we collectively learnt to ignore him. Started snapping pictures once he started explaining. Haha.. he was so pek chek. Last supper carving. My cafe. PIs got discount! Haha..
Back in the hotel.. we took interesting shots. Haha.. And I think I take better pictures! Vote for your fav silhouette! From left to right, A, B, C! I vote for C!
