when spending and saving reaches an equilibrium

Been leading a budget life in auckland. Most of the money saving comes from food. Frankly, not too used to it because back in Singapore, i spend most on food and not so much on others... Might as well.. Maybe i won't grow fat too rapidly that way. Adapt.. adapt..

anyway spent quite abit already. running low on cash.. Shall use the ATM most of the time. Rent is the killer.. and that irritating jap textbook. Bought some stuff too! I see all the winter coats here.. quite pretty. so tempted. tsktsk.. no no..

White top from Valleygirl

Grey long sleeve from Dotti. I think this top is very me. hahaha..

anyway I am not splurging on shopping k. It is their summer sale now.. so can get some stuff fairly cheap.

My Roxy beach slippers. Got this because the slippers i brought over has GREAT tendency to give up on me one day and just snap. All the slopes climbing isnt conducive for a flimsy slipper. There is another rip curl one which looks much cuter but NO SIZE. too big. That aside, I'm so into stripes now.

I love this cap. I think it looks really cute.

All that for around $100. reasonable la huh? Yar. ^^

The real splurge is on the trips. so expensive... sighh.. but again coming NZ for tour is so expensive. I can go europe with that price. Nvm nvm.. must enjoy!

Dream! Some ring like thing you'll get when you donate a dollar. So poor already still can donate. not bad.

Jing's influence is evident. I really don't buy so much chocolates and chips in Singapore. But of course.. compared to her collection, mine is nothing close to impressive. haha.

More evidence. This bag of cookies have been in the fridge for sometime already. I wonder when i will ever finish it. I thought it looked really yummy.

Atoning for all the unhealthy-ness. Honest squeezed Orange juice leh!

Apples help you study better. Haha.. Eat apples!

Alright.. now to the money saving times... What do you do when you are a poor student in a foreign land + you know you gonna spend alot on travelling?

Tip1: When there is free food. Grab it!

Some bank was giving out free sausage bread. Probably trying to get you stuck in the queue so that they can attack you better. Anyway free lunch.

Check out the sausage to bread proportions. The sausage is super big! Quite yummy. haha.Free donuts as mentioned the other time...

Tip 2. Share your food.

Wedges with cheese and salsa. The fellow mixed all the sauces tgt. quite ugly looking.. but not bad la. Lunch once again. in fact, this should be called lunches. shared it with jing and that makes it lunch for 2.

When you try to conquer one whole normal portion yourself.... Sometimes this will happen.

Jing frantically trying to hide her leftovers. but as we can all see from the tiny exposed area, there is still alot left.

Pictures to prove that I am still alive and kicking.

Eusoff! From left to right.. Eusoff IHG t-shirts for 07/08, 06/07, 04/05. Should have brought the 05/06 one. Then we'll have a complete set from 04 to 08. Anyway can u see the bright light above me? It means that I am enlightened. Tsk.. Cant be discrete about the gaining of enlightenment, it is so obvious it is blinding.

Super windy. look at our hair. Horrid photo of me... centre parting??? eeks.

So cold. And for mysterious reasons, we chose to wait for the others in the wind. hmmmm. Later we decided to move to the busstop because we reckon it will block out some wind. Felt like those homeless souls. Cold and hungry. I'm always hungry anyway.

The last picture is for Rong.

Rong i found you a friend. I think this is a cow ba. haha.. saw it at Fiona's place and i had to take a picture of it for you! See i'm always thinking of you girls k...
