FOOD!

As you would have guessed.. my diet has failed. Haha... yes. the failure came very soon. I'm not even sure if i ever started on one. I guess not. Been kind of on an eating spree.. GOSH.
First up...

eki eki Japanese Restuarant

Met up with Andrea to go buy a scarf on thursday. Because we were too efficient.. we still had some time to waste before aik khoon comes to meet us for dinner. So we wondered around Queens Street to look for some nice looking place where we can settle our dinner. Chanced upon this cosy little japanese restuarant and prices wasnt too bad! KIV.

Both of us were sooooo hungry we decided to go and snack on something at BK while waiting for aik khoon. Haha.. Pigs. Aik Khoon came awhile later and we had to leave for round 2! Haha.. But i decided round 2 should not come so fast so we continued looking for eating alternatives. Walked and walked.. saw a few nice places around actually. We were super indecisive. But in the end, still went back to the first one.

Cosy looking.

was super full that day. Ate dinner at 6+ and had no complaints until I went to bed at 1am. Thats pretty rare.

On Friday, the NUS exchange coordinators came to Uni of Auckland to do an exchange fair. So Jing, Ian and I went to help out. There are actually alot of people who knows about NUS and wants to exchange over! I didnt know that. Esp Architecture students. The coordinators pushed their enquires to jing and me since we're from SDE. But we know nuts about archi modules! I know 1 though.. It is called Ideas and Approaches to Architecture. Or is it called something else?

Anyway.. there were very nice and decided to treat all of the NUS exchange students to a dinner gathering. Budget was $25-30 /pax.. hahaha.. we were all super excited. We decided to bring them to Viaduct ( some expensive place poor students cant really afford. All food around that range la I guess ) for buffet if they want us to recommend. Anyway in the end Eileen and Eugene (Coordinators) really took us to this Viaduct Buffet place for dinner! All of us were secretly being very happy. Haha. The place is called The Koreans.

Food Food!

Oysters! Never really eaten a raw oyster but since not alot of selection, got to eat the expensive stuff right?? Eugene said it was good.. So we took some each. It was YUM! Thats fresh oysters with tar tar sauce. Would have been better if i put abit less tar tar. Haha.

BBQ Food! alright portion looks miserable. But buffet mah. And the plate is small to start with.

Full!

Yea.. Pleased with the food. Had a nice time talking to Eileen and Eugene. They are nice people. Going off to Christchurch/Dunedin/ Queenstown in half an hour. Alots of pictures and stories to tell in a week's time!
