I finally got some exercise!


Met up with the iSpace seniors yesterday to play badminton! Haha.. they brought alot of rackets and alot of other people. So met some new people yet again! Our Auckland Asian Enclave is expanding.


Anyway I realise I'm really horrible at badminton. I thought it will be intuitive.. as in the the shuttle will fly over then you just hit it la! Shouldnt be too difficult right... BUT i'm wrong! I played HORRIBLY ( as in really horribly cause i cannot stand it myself). Pingpong insticts apparently took over and all my reflexes are pingpong initiated. Hahahah.. Cant help it man! Played 1 single sport for too long never diversify. Now i understand why my sec sch coach didnt allow us to play badminton at all.. It really does spoil your strokes. After 1 game of badminton maybe i need pingpong training to get the strokes back right. Means the next time I play pingpong I might be horrible at it too! ROARRRR!!

Been watching slamdunk.. made me feel like playing my sport too. Ayeee... although slamdunk is a basketball show, all the feelings they go through during their matches I also went through before! When I look at the ivp pictures, I realise I miss playing pingpong! Haiyah... UoA don't have pingpong tables one leh.. Got to take a bus out of the city central to another sports hall then can play. And it is on every sunday NIGHT + admission fees applies. Everytime i play pingpong got to pay like $10 in all. Tsk. Maybe i'll never play here in Auckland. Wait till August when I get back to NUS.

Anyway after the badminton game, jing and me went to the gym! Haha.. Healthy Healthy!

Because got to pay $8 to enter the recreation centre. So we decided we will make good use of the money and go do some gym. But in the end we only ran the threadmill for 20 mins. Haha.. Got time limit one. you can only use the cardio equipments for 20 mins each time. Due to lack of experience in the gym... I think i started off too slowly for too long. At the end of 20 minutes dont feel like i've exercised alot. The distance ran is so pathetic. :(

But still... Have muscle aches today. Haha.

Alright alright.. I shall continue to do my planning critical review. I am only 1/5 way there. Now i know why i'm a cynic. Been doing too much of critical reviews in my academic life. Haha.
