Met the KE7 team for dinner the other day at some vegetarian place. Blehhhh.. not nice. I think I am the kind who needs to kill some animals before i get a satisfied meal. I believe i can live with a meal consisting of all vegetables.. but not vegetarian. Those mock meat.. bu hao chi de. Maybe it is just that place.

Anyway after that dinner I realise something. These china people have sky high cap. SERIOUSLY. I was talking to this girl called yu ye and her cap now is like.. 4.8. CRAZINESS~~~. And she was like.. oh... I have a few friends with cap 5. She said her faculty (cannot remember wad fac) has so many of them with cap 4.5 and above that 4.5 isnt enuff to get you into deans list. You'll need to compare the number of modules... the number of A+.. GOSH.

3 years in NUS and only now i realise i have living in a world of delusion. People elsewhere are getting As like nobody's business... Now i know why my electives always dun get A.

Conclusion:
1. All slacking in my academic life will be consolidated into a period of 6 months. From now till I get back to NUS for my final year. NO MORE SLACKING once sch starts! Shall quit slackers club and transform myself into a MUGGER...... When I get back, shall promise myself to work very hard and go around snatching As from the rest of the ppl. yeahhh~~~ haha.

2. There are living organisms from other planets infiltrating into NUS. Very often disguised as foreign smarties and acheiving grades out of this world. Every sem, their identity gets exposed on result day. They may be trying to wipe out the human race by imposing mental stress. Please beware and take necessary precautions.

Happy (belated) birthday Rexson!

Went to celebrate rexson's birthday last wed. Went for settlers, dinner then Chinatown walk walk. Had a crazy time at settlers. I think we were the noisiest bunch of people there as usual. But to be fair, there are only like... 2 groups of ppl there. haha.. so can only say we are the noisiER grp.

All competitors were very stressed.

Immature ah bengs gathering Day.

Ah beng grp 1:

One ah beng dragged a huge brunch, ran across the road, left the brunch in the middle of the road. Rest of the ah bengs were filming the process on their handphones and all laughing laughing saying it is damn funny.

Not funny.

I think they lack the capacity to think of the consequences. I dragged the branch away when i crossed the road. I guess they were quite disappointed because i saw them waiting there for the 1st car to come and see wad happens. grow up la....

Ah beng group 2.

Group of ah beng/lians and a little baby. Seems like it is some case of 奉子成婚 to me. There were kind of passing the kid around.. tsk. Poor baby. Those xiao ah beng/lians definately dun look like they are over 20. How to bring up a kid? I hope the kid grows up well...

Talked loudly on the train. Somebody made some comment which the rest tot was quite funny. and everybody in the grp started to make MINOR changes to the same sentence and continue laughing over the same joke.. errrrr... ok. Maybe u dun call their immature. Thats.... easily entertained?

On the train. Started whacking each other's palm super loudly everybody turned to see wads happening. Ah bengs think it is quite funny, laugh laugh laugh and the whacking continues.

Whats with the agglomeration of immature ah bengs today??? Got to be some festival for them to all appear at the same time.

hmmmm. silver. shd have been a gold.. but well, I have nothing to say.

Lost to eusoff in the finals. haha... of all halls, eusoff. Didnt watch most of the doubles match.. cause my heart really cannot take it.

Although we lost, i feel nothing. Its just this feeling of not much feeling. Maybe a tiny bit of disappointment cause we really shd win it. But... as they say it, ball is round. Not superly upset abt it.. Maybe because i am not that close to the team. I think i've done what I can. I won both my matches, basically because i am always up against ppl who hasnt gone thru any type of formal training thats y. Didnt play too well today anyway.. lucky wasnt up against ppl who play very well.

Today, i think my presence in a team is finally appreciated. some ppl start to think.. hey maybe it would be nice to have this fellow in the team huh... Well, feels good to be acknowledged. :)

More pingpong action today... My legs are soooooooo suan. I don't know why. I think i'm getting old..

Has been an interesting day.. Right from the time i wore my KE jersey, for the first time. Firstly, because I have never tried it, I realise it looks abit small. Regreted taking an S. And more importantly, i got this super weird feeling. Feels like I am wearing the wrong jersey. Been wearing eusoff jerseys for past 2 years, just doesnt feel right wearing this one.

Appeared at MPSH to warm up. Because dearest lee may wasnt there yet, this guy (dunno who) there asked me to play with him. Ok lo. since I am there. Realise this guy and his friend are not NUS students. They are from SP and Shatec? They just came all the way to NUS to play pingpong cause it is open to all. hmmmm... interesting ar? I didnt know non-NUS ppl come just to play pingpong.

Slowly all the halls came in and I saw EH. Feels weird! hahha.. talked abit. I played first singles against Grace. Just doesnt feel right when you play against someone you know. She was my vice capt last yr. we'll sit outside my room to discuss the lineup... She hasnt played for some time.. so i won that match.

When we played against SH i played against a friend again! haiyah.. and i was trying to avoid her in the lineup. Bad luck. But i had to play the 1st few so that i can catch a bus home. haha.. So too bad for me! Played against yingying, my ivp doubles partner. Had a very close match, quite dramatic.. but i lost it in the end. kind of disappointing cause i was leading all the way.. Well, May the better player win. I'm quite glad she won also... cause she shouldnt be losing to me. Congrats yingying! Score: 11-9, 5-11, 9-11, 11-7, 9,11

Too bad in the end SH didnt get to go finals. it is so so so so so so wasted!! sigh.. they were a very strong team! wasted wasted wasted. sigh sigh sigh!

i'm bored....

I am bored.......I'm easily bored... I have nothing to do at home! Count fingers? 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10... *pause* 1,2,3,4,5....

Wanted to organise a pingpong outing for sentosa.. but keep raining recently. And it will just suddenly pour super heavily.. Is there anything interesting to do indoors? Underwater world? haha.. if any NUS ping pong-ers is reading this, give some suggestions leh!

Went to school yesterday and it felt like a normal school day. Saw the BU ppl, feels great to see them back in school! Went for a talk with the RE girls, stood outside the toilet and discuss where we shd go for lunch (for a very long time because always got distractions along the way).. went for lunch, talked alot... OH and we walked on the red carpet too! haha.. Forgot i wont be with them everyday until Fen tried to cheat me into coming to sch on thursday. I still can't believe I am really leaving for Auckland!

IHG is tmr. Kind of looking forward to it because i'll be occupied for the day. BUT... too bad i don't have the fighting spirit to win anymore. Don't feel appreciated. The team is alright, but something else isnt. Will still do my part as a player though. well, when you are up there, you will naturally do what you can to win la. Dear team, please make my sacrifices worthwhile and do me proud. jiayou!

IVP is over! been training day and night.. maybe not day and night.. afternoon and night then.. my life surrounds pingpong so much!! now that it is over.. feel abit empty. Everything gets summerized into a medal.

Yea! summerized into a gold medal! NUS lost it for so many years.. finally got it back! Was warming the bench most of the time.. but as long as NUS won.. doesnt really matter how we win it. Haha.. was super high yesterday! screamed so much.. i lost my voice again. Haha. 2nd time I have sexy voice in 1 week... destined to be sexy la!

Girls team: Suhui, lee may, huiting, me, yingying, val, nan nan, mel, simin, chengying, leexin, sheila. Of course the one who is obviously of a different gender is the coach.

Girls team again with seniors who came back to support and train with us! super sweet of them... the pretty long hair girl in brown top and white skirt is xiugui.. look so sweet n gentle yar? but she is super zai!! whack u like nobody's business.. other seniors include wiwy and jiayin.

Was super full after dinner, although the girls didn't eat much. We kept pushing food to the guy's table. Haha.. Despite being damn full, still went for part 2 after that. Been a long time since the last time val, yingying and i went to simpang bedok to have the super humongous teh peng.. so thought we'll do that after dinner. Ended up alot of ppl were super on so we went bukit timah for the teh peng instead! Even coach went.. later found out he stay nearby, no wonder so ON.

spent a long time at the teh peng place.. was talking abt the match, past matches and gossiping about people we dun even know. 最高境界 of gossiping i tell u! I don't even know the people they were gossiping about, nv seen or heard abt them. But all of us at the table have brief knowledge abt their love life after that. haha.. interesting.

Anyway bukit timah is bad la.. keep having ka chua scares... became quite paranoid the whole time we were there!

2008!

its 2008..! had countdown at mel's place. had fun as usual.. played DDR for the first time in my life! hahaha. can't coordinate for nuts, so lousy at it. shd secretly train and be damn zai next time we compete again! Had pingpong training in the morning, so was super tired around 2 plus in the morning. dun even have strength to lift my leg up and down for the DDR. my legs were glued by gravity.




have been a full time pingpong player since exams ended. Tiring leh! training every other day. My leg constantly feels tired now. Didnt get to rest it. Well... IVP is here so intensive trainings are justified. Had a game yesterday.. played so badly! gosh. dunno wad happened to all the trainings I had. lucky we still won.


Oh.. some ppl in the team say i look like i'm dreaming when i'm playing my match. hahaha.. my eyes small dun mean i am dreaming k! i was concentrating so hard. Although concentrate still didnt play well. :( too jing zhang, too timid. dun dare to be aggressive! hit the ball so damn softly it was floating all over the place most of the time.
