Kimpeng's birthday.. went for korean dinner, tapao starbucks (courtesy from the bdae girl), wine and rounds and rounds of indian poker and murderer in my room. Had lots of fun.. was a really great night!

Indian poker. I had good cards this round. haha

Everybody always trying to cheat james and abhay into changing their cards. They are always cheating each other too. So this is clearly not a case of discrimination against non-chinese.

Murderer = somebody was pushed down the grafton bridge/a murder took place, it was in the police station/ no no not me! i was innocently eating sweet potatoes at home/ you are talking too much you must be the murderer/ you are not talking at all you must be the murderer/ why am i always killed??? / Dont execute me, I am the police!/ murderer-police identity crisis..

And we started on the face paint. Initially it was a forfeit.. and by the end of it, nobody's supposed to go without some black stuff on the face.

Thought it will be a good idea to label names. for easy recognition purposes.... just in case...

Later we decided he has too little face paint on and proceeded to let our creative juices flow. Now he doesnt exactly look like anything. hahaha.. Problem creative people like us always face... we create art that english doesnt have a word for yet.Abhay

Sent Ian and Kimpeng to south island today and Jing to Australia. Awwwww... life is just different without you guys around. I am so not used to it. Feels empty, something is missing.

Had our last hugs and goodbyes with Onyx, James and Abhay this morning too. Emotional moments. Might never get to see them again. booooooooo... i'm upset multiple times today!

post exam activities

Too many activities since exams ended. took a long walk from Auckland city to Newmarket and Parnell.. walked walked walked. Rained somemore. And umbrellas, once it reaches nz, it faces functional obsolescence! First the rain is coming from everywhere, so you'll be busy defending from the rain in all directions. In the end you still get wet because the cunning rain here attacks you left, right, center. So, it defeats the purpose of carrying an umbrella. Second, the wind is so horribly strong your umbrella flips the other way out and collects rain instead of blocking it.

Went chocolate boutique at Parnell too! the chocs look good. but expensive... tried their desserts but wasnt so impressed. Chose the wrong thing. should have just stick to the normal hot chocolate. Heard that hot chocs there are really good! nvm.. starbucks is good too. yum.

Anyway main pictures posted is of another of our apartment bonding sessions. haha.. We did face mask! Black ones! Thank you for jing for sponsoring.. and Ian for finally giving in. haha.

And then we waited for the mask to dry... Takes 20 mins. But we couldnt talk.. or laugh because the mask was too tight. haha..

Since we've got nothing to do.. and talking becomes difficult.. we off the lights and spent 20 mins staring at this. What a romantic activity yar. hahaha..

We all tried to pull the mask out in one piece.. theorethically, we all managed to do it.

Yeah clean face! Please ignore the fact that my face is round and chubby for the moment and try to focus on the issue that it actually does look quite clean.

lappie is spoilt

I needed all the luck in the world for today's paper. So my lappie crashed few days ago. Thats shows how much lucked i needed.

Damn sad. all my electronic gadgets are going thru some kind of ordeal over here. no lappie =no entertainment. Sigh... thank god I am coming back in a week's time.

Go watch this series.. It is called NODAME CANTABILE.
The show is put in a music academy setting... but doesnt matter if you have any musical knowledge or not. Still enjoyable. Keep watching this like i've got no exams to take. Haha.. I'll study now. The guy is cuteeeeeeeee.. Not quite in this picture. but when you watch the show he will become cuter as time goes by. haha.

Just watched episode 4 and i thought it was very touching. Awwww.. I wished i could play some kind of instrument!

To black forest cake: I know you are very busy. But maybe you can watch this while waiting for your hair to dry before you sleep.

Day 3. Waterfalls+ animal wildlife park



Some of them left for Auckland on Day 2.. by day 3, all that was left was ian, abhay, james, jing and me. Started off eating hard bread in the cold... Dont know why but Waitomo is a freezing place!

Took a drive to the Waterfalls. Quite a sight.. very tall. But the roads were super bad. Had carsick.. And it was at this place where my irritating water bottle leaked and flooded my bag. Mp3 drowned totally. No signs of life. Hp in the stage of revival.. probably knew how to tread water a little.Some animal place next... saw some birds and deers and sheeps... I like this small deer! So pretty.. nice eyes.A closer look When it grows up it becomes like that. Hmmmm.. the guys call this donkey deer. Haha.. They say its a deer with a donkey body.
And the donkey deers live in a nice place.. great scenery.
This dove kept tailing us.Miniature horses. I like the big ones better.. more handsome! This one looks so messy.. ah beng version of the regular horse.
abhay gave this other horse a centre parting. looks neater. hahah.. the bit of hair falling infront on the ears are meant to give a more natural look.

The lambs are so adorable. But when horrible Ian first saw them.. he greeted them with:

"haiyah.. why do you taste so good?" GOSH.
