Day 3. Queenstown

Arrived at Queenstown at night. Most of the stalls are closed by the time we finished our dinner. Queenstown is supposed to be a happening place where you can do alot of activities. But we did most of the things during our Easter break already. All that sky diving, white water rafting etc.

The surroundings of our accomodation looked great

Kind of dark. But our window is our emergency exit! Haha.. So cool. We can just jump out.

Autumn streets. Autumn is a lovely season.

First Up, we went wine tasting early in the morning! Haha.. The boys wanted to do bungy. so we thought some alcohol might help... How the shop operates:
  • You will be given a card and you can top up whatever amount of money you want to.

  • A vast variety of wine is available for testing. All of them kept in some dispenser cum chiller kind of thing. All wines have different pricing.

  • You can choose among sample portion, half glass or full glass. Different pricing applies.

  • The card can be topped up anytime and remaining balance will be refunded.

Sounds like a good deal huh! Can try all that expensive wine for a few bucks, just for the fun of it. But come to think of it, it wasnt cheap. It is just expensive wine made affordable, for testing. Mummy/Daddy/Da jie, I think you will like it there! This is the place I want to bring you to if we ever go to Queenstown.

Nice and cosy.

This ice wine is pretty good.

Hmmmm....

Hmmmmm hmmmmm! Cheese platter. I realise the one i liked best was cheddar. What a common type of cheese to like best.

Scenic Queenstown.

After that we went for Luge. Before we can get to the place, we had to take a gondola up. Gondola is just... cable car.

At the top of the mountain/hill. Sky looks grey and threatening!

Another view. Gives me the Lord of The Rings feeling.

Geared up for Luge.

The trackHow it works! After Luge, the boys braced themselves for Bungy. They tried to psycho us into doing it too but they werent too convincing. Haha..

Felt scared for them!

Prelude. 43m high. Water is clear and blue. No worries if you fall in! Heroes of the Day:

James.

Ian

Even the toilet signs have a bungy theme. Cute.

Rest of the day is spent on driving again...

Havent been updating because I was trying to catch up with some work. Had my jap oral and mid semester test last thursday. Listening was bad! By the time I can make out the first sentence the dialogue was at the 3rd sentence already! Haha... Well well.. We'll see how that went.
